Hoymiles offers a solution to do just that with the DTU (pro). There are two variants. One is the DTU-WLite for just under 59€ (incl. VAT) or the DTU-Pro for 249€ (incl. VAT). DTU is the base unit of heat. You need DTU * S pecific H eat C apacity * Mass (grams) to figure out how much to heat something up. Water has an SHC of 4.179 DTU/gram. The DTU is a kind of bridge between WLAN and the inverter's sub-1G radio. In addition to the manufacturer's DTU, there are 2 open source projects for a DIY DTU: AhoyDTU and OpenDTU. The hardware basis of the projects is an ESP32 and an additional radio module. Depending on the inverter type, an nRFL24L01+ radio module is required for the HM.

My config is based on a HM1200, possibly adjustable to other inverters aswell (mine has 4 Inputs, 2 MPPT trackers, similar to the HM1500, but i would recommend the MQTT-Explorer or similar, to figure that out) Aready discussed in the forum.
